John William Horan of Gustine passed away Aug. 21.
He was 55.
Mr. Horan was a native of San Jose. He moved to Gustine a year ago after previously residing in Newman.
He was a member of the Crows Landing Ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
Mr. Horan loved music.
He was devoted to his family, and was his father’s caretaker for years.
He is survived by two brothers, Jeff Horan and Thomas Horan, both of Gustine; and a sister, Peg Horan of Morgan Hill.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Winfrey and Barbara Horan.
A funeral service will be held Saturday, Aug. 31, at 10 a.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Crows Landing.
Interment will follow in Hills Ferry Cemetery.
