Raymond Medeiros
Raymond Medeiros, 88, passed away May 15.
Mr. Medeiros was a native of Gustine. He was a lifelong resident of Gustine and Newman before moving to Kerman one and one-half years before his passing.
Mr. Medeiros worked as a truck driver for Avila Meat Company for many years.
He was a parishioner at St. Joachim’s Catholic Church and belonged to the Knights of Columbus.
An avid San Francisco 49er fan, Mr. Medeiros also enjoyed traveling to Pismo Beach and Indio with his fifth-wheel RV, and liked to golf.
Mr. Medeiros is survived by his wife of 67 years, Rose Medeiros of Kerman; two sons, Ray Medeiros (Cheryl) of Kerman and Vernon Medeiros of Laguna Niguel; two sisters, Laura Bettencourt of Ceres and Mary Brazil Snyder of Turlock; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Services were held Tuesday.
Interment was in Hills Ferry Cemetery.
Hillview Funeral Chapel was in charge of arrangements.
