Mary Salsa
Mary Rose Salsa, 87, of Gustine, passed away June 20.
Mrs. Salsa was a native of Reno, Nev., and lived in Gustine for 73 years.
She was a homemaker.
Mrs. Salsa was a parishioner at the Shrine of Our Lady of Miracles. She was a past president of the Our Lady of Miracles Celebration with her husband George.
She also belonged to the Gustine Seniors.
She enjoyed traveling, cooking and baking.
Mrs. Salsa is survived by two sons, George (Carol) Salsa Jr. and Frank (Deborah) Salsa, both of Gustine; a daughter, Mary Ann (Craig) McGroarty of Colorado; nine grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George Salsa.
A rosary will be held today (Thursday) at 10 a.m. at the Shrine of Our Lady of Miracles, with a funeral mass to follow at 10:30.
Interment will follow in Hills Ferry Cemetery.
