Virgil Calonico of Gustine passed away March 24 at 87 years of age.
Mr. Calonico was born in Los Banos. He was a lifelong resident of Gustine.
He was a U.S. Army veteran.
Mr. Calonico was an electrical contractor for 50 years.
He loved music and played in the Gustine City Band and other bands for over 50 years.
He enjoyed photography, flying and traveling.
Mr. Calonico is survived by his wife, Vyvian Calonico of Gustine; a daughter Adriane (Marvin) Rose of Gustine; and two sisters, Clara Nervino of Newman and Arlene Palumbo of Alameda.
Graveside services will be held Saturday, March 29, at 10 a.m. in Hills Ferry Cemetery.
